On Thursday, March 9th, from 6pm to 8pm, Snyderman-Works is pleased to present a panel discussion featuring four Philadelphians whose passion for supporting and stewarding the arts in our city guides their everyday engagements.
This panel will include Don Millinger, museum professional and lawyer, currently advising on the new Philadelphia Contemporary and previously Special Counsel for the Solomon R Guggenheim Museum; Emily Gowen, Program and Administrative Officer at The Mayor’s Fund for Philadelphia; Eric Preisendanz, Founder of Revolvd and Curator at Little Berlin Gallery; and Heath Ballowe, a collector and artist from Philadelphia. The panel will be moderated by local artist and collector, Alex Conner, who has curated our current exhibition, Paper Work. The panel will spend the evening discussing the act of collecting as a means of supporting our city’s artistic community as well as the dynamic contemporary art that exists in Philadelphia. Light refreshments will be served afterwards.
