Photographer Michael Penn has launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund “The Philadelphia Project,” a three year long photographic journey through the streets of Philadelphia with a goal of 1000 photographs that will end with an exhibition to showcase the project. Help fund this project before Thursday, May 31.

Brenna K. Murphy has been invited to work as the first Visiting Artist at the Kasthamandap Art Studio in Kathmandu, Nepal for the month of July, and as an Artist-in-Residence at the CAMAC Centre d’Art in Marnay-sur-Seine, France. You can read more about her travels here.

A piece by Robert Solomon was selected for the Guest Curator Project on Saatchi Online.

Lynette Shelley will have artwork published in the upcoming book, Wildlife Art Today, coming Fall 2013. In addition, her artwork “The Poisoner” will be published in the juried Petroleum Paradox exhibition catalog for Denise Bibro Fine Art. In addition, it will be included on the Women’s Caucus for Art website.

Dolores Poacelli is teaching a mixed media class at Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown, NJ. Classes are Wednesdays 9:30 am – noon for ten weeks, from April 18 – June 6. Sign up here.

Susan Abrams‘ Platinum/palladium print “Three Witches” was selected as an Honorable Mention in the Professional Women Photographers 36th Anniversary Competition and will be included in the online gallery on PWP’s website from December 15 – May 14.
