Artist Bio

For numerous decades, while growing up in Olde Kensington, Philadelphia, the artist was surrounded by the unique cultural diversity the “City of Brotherly Love” has to offer. This series of “Urban” paintings offers a sarcastically witty humorous view of growing up in an urban environment. Upon further dissection, one can discover the complexity and surrealism through a vast array of scenes. The size of each painting plays a large role in the intended art work, integrating a balance and proportion in an accurately measure visual element the benefits the piece. The medium used is acrylic based, bringing out the depth and texture of the painting to compliment the compelling image of the intensity and rawness of such a city.
