Artist Statement

I’ve always found beauty in ephemera and transcience. What I try to capture could be in a moment as much as a place. Every painting or composition is like a new problem to solve, with parts to fit and connections to make. Whether the outcome is more abstract or narrative, the process usually involves multiple exchanges of layering and reduction.
