Artist Statement
I began taking photographs with a red hot shot camera when I was 7. Since then, photography has always been my medium. I documented my travels with light and film. My archaeological nature lead me to this recent work. I collected anything transparent for ten years before beginning this new project. I imagine these images of layered transparencies as fossils from a prehistoric past or an Aldous Huxley future. Eventually morphing into one collective history.
