Artist Bio

Nicolae is a photographer based in Philadelphia who grew up in Romania. He is a graduate of the National Academy of Physical Education and Sport in Bucharest where he received certification in sports media. In 2008, he attended a master class in photojournalism in Cambodia run by Gary Knight, and he was one of only two U.S.-based photographers brought to Rio de Janeiro to shoot the Homeless World Cup in 2010.
