Thursday, August 4, 7:45 pm at High School Park: Part of Scribe’s Strret Movies Week, screenings of short films about the environment, saving a community garden, farming, food justice and gardening. Opening performance by folk acoustic funk group Hootgrass. High School Rd. and Montgomery Ave., Philadelphia.

Friday, August 5, 7:45 pm at Marian Anderson Recreation Center: Part of Scribe’s Street Movies featuring films topics such as include a story about a YWCA founded by black church women in 1920 struggles inside a gentrifying South Philadelphia neighborhood and more.  Opening performance group MOM (Music over Matter). 744 S. 17th Street, Philadelphia.

Saturday, August 6, 7:45 pm at Clark Park: Part of Scribe’s Street Movies featuring short films about W.E.B. Dubois, Kenyan science fiction, green energy and transportation.
