Faces of a New China examines the people living through the rapid transformation from third world country to global economic superpower. In the cities of Beijing and Shanghai the skies are dominated skyscrapers, cookie cutter housing complexes and 60 story construction cranes while the streets are active with the traditional culture of Hutong community life. The images are a series of portraits and street scenes on paper and silk.
