Roberto Lugo‘s All About the Benjamins Century Vase has been acquired by the Philadelphia Museum of Art for their permanent Contemporary Crafts and Decorative Arts collection.

Paul Fabozzi will be having a solo exhibition at Seraphin Gallery in December 2016.

Rachel Citrino will participate in this year’s Dear Fleisher, First Look Party and art sale at the Fleisher Art Memorial November 18 and 20. She will be available for gallery visits for her works in Six at the Da Vinci Art Alliance Wednesday evenings in October from 6 – 8 pm.

Susan Abrams has work in both The National Alternative Process Competition Show and the Penumbra Foundation Juried Members Exhibition. Both exhibits are up concurrently at Soho Photo Gallery November 2 – 26, with an artist reception Tuesday, November 1 from 6 – 8 pm.

Sandi Neiman Lovitz will be participating in POST 2016 (Philadelphia Open Studio Tours) October 8 – 9 and County Studio Tour October 15 – 16. She will participate in two ARTsisters group shows: VISIONARY, an ARTsisters group show running October 5 – November 9 with a reception Sunday, October 9, and e.scapes: by land, by sea, by air at the Siegel JCC ArtSpace October – November. Her work will also appear in the two-person show, RAPTURE OF SPACE at Boston Street Gallery, running October 27 – December 10 with a reception October 29, and in the Whitaker Abstractly Speaking Exhibition group show at the Whitaker Center for the Arts and Sciences November 11 – January 5, 2017.

Jay Walker will take part in the 2016 Tape Art Convention and Exhibit in Berlin October 8 – November 5. He has been featured on the cover of The Seen Journal and on the cover of Jaffrey Clark’s new serialized book, The Nobleman. Along with the Nobleman cover, each week there will be a new chapter released featuring a new drawing.

Cheryl Harper has been featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer for the exhibition Artship Olympia at Penn’s Landing. The exhibition will be ongoing until October 2, 2016.

Gillian Polako will be teaching several classes on screenprinting this fall at the Main Line Art Center: Photo Into Print September 28 – October 26, Claytography October 13 – December 8, and Visual Rock’n’Roll: Intro Screen Print November 9 – December 7.

Melissa Maddonni Haims will be teaching two workshops and lecturing at The Abington Art Center on September 20. She will offer a yarnbombing workshop leading up to her show Between the Threads at the Rowan University Gallery. She will participate in the Chestnut Hill Fall For The Arts Festival in the Makers Village on Southampton, September 25.

Gillian Polako‘s work will be at the Lansdowne Art Fest on September 11, Go West Craft Fest October 2, Clover Market October 23 and November 6, A Bit of the Arts November 25 and 26, and the Main Line Art Center Holiday Craft Market December 13-15.

Joseph Opshinsky’s cut paper collage, Jack-in-the-Pulpit has been selected for the 49th Annual Art of the State at The State Museum of Pennsylvania and will be on display through September 11, 2016.

Veronica Cianfrano‘s work can be seen in two Fringe Festival events this year: in her show For Crying Out Loud and at the CRUXspace, opening September 9. She will also participate in the CAMD Faculty Exhibition at the Kimmel Center for Performing Arts, with a reception October 17. Her video projection We See The Stars opens December 1 at the Delaware Center For Contemporary Art.

Jennifer Lipman-Bartel will contribute two works to The Nude Figure at The Wayne Art Center, running October 16 – November 19. She will attend the 2016 Glass Auction Gala on September 24.

Miriam Singer‘s work will appear in in the upcoming show Reinterpreting Landscape and Nature hosted at Stanek Gallery and sponsored by InLiquid. The show opens September 9. Her temporary mural at Elixr Coffee Roasters, 207 S. Sydenham Street, Philadelphia, will be on view through September 182016. She has a new mural up at 1016 Buttonwood St., Philadelphia, which will have its opening reception at 990 Spring Garden, October 8. She was recently interviewed by Zoe Cohenon at Title Magazine.

Rebecca Jacoby will have several new paintings and drawings will be in the upcoming show Reinterpreting Landscape and Nature hosted at Stanek Gallery and sponsored by InLiquid. The show opens September 9. She will be selling drawings and works on paper at the Tyler Art Market on September 23.

Mary Powers Holt has been awarded second prize in the Art on Avenue of the States juried Landscape and Photography show.

Sandra Benhaim‘s work will be featured in two upcoming exhibitions: The 2016 Absolutely Abstract Juried Show at the Philadelphia Sketch Club running September 2 – 24 with a reception Sunday, September 11 and the NAWA’s 127th Annual Members Exhibition at the Sylvia Wald and Po Kim Gallery running August 30 – September 22 with a reception September 15. Additionally, she will have seven paintings on display in Abstract Encounters II at Rowan College, on view September 21 – October 28.

Michel Delgado has won the Best of Mansail award at the Mansail Art Festival in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Stuart Lehrman will have two paintings on display in the show Fragmented Identities at the Venice Art House Gallery in Santa Croce, Venizia, Italy. The exhibition will be opening on August 4, 2016.

Michele C. Kishita has launched a new business: Michele Kishita Writing. Michele will provide services that help artists to have greater impact and to generate excitement in galleries, professional programs and potential buyers.

Lauren Rinaldi will be featured in Selfish Magazine for their Hot and Bothered 2016 Summer Issue.

Cynthia Back has been awarded with a fully-funded residency for September and October 2016 at the Nordic Artist’s Center, located in Dale, Norway.

Kathryn Pannepacker’s the Healing Blanket Project was on display at The Memorial in the BKG Funeral Home, where participants of the project honored victims of homicide by placing pictures of loved ones for the memorial.

Susan Benarcik is hosting a demonstration for bookmaking at the PawPaw Folk Festival on Saturday, August 20th from 1 -2pm. Blue Ball Barn at Alapocas Run State Park, Wilmington, DE.

Mark Havens published Out of Season: The Vanishing Architecture of the Wildwoods, a new photography book about the unique architecture of Wildwood hotels.

Clarissa Shanahan will be selling her art at the Makers Village Chestnut Hill Fall for the Arts Festival. The festival is on Sunday, September 25, from 11am – 5pm. Located at East Southampton Ave. and Germantown Ave. Makers Village will feature blacksmith demonstrations, glass blowing, jewelry making, encaustic painting, textile art, stained glass and more.

Nancy E.F. Halbert has been selected to exhibit her paintings in a solo show at Pennswood Art Gallery, in Newtown, Pa, scheduled for September – November 2017.  

Cheryl Harper’s piece, Hillary Bride Doll, is on display at the exhibition, Heads of State, located at the Hamilton Street Gallery in Bound Brook, New Jersey through October 27, 2016.
