Submission Guidelines:

The Woven Tale Press welcomes unsolicited submissions. You may send us new or previously published material (as long as you still own the rights). If previously published, unless it was on your own blog or website, it should not have been published within the past three years. We prefer new works, but understand if you’d like to see resurrected a favorite story or poem published in a now defunct online or print publication.

We accept simultaneous submissions as long as we are notified immediately upon acceptance elsewhere.  There is no payment for submissions at this time. However, we don’t charge you a fee to submit, either.

As our mission is to grow traffic to noteworthy artists and writers on the Web, having your own website or blog URL is a prerequisite to being published in our magazine – and super simple to get set up.  Really. Any artist or writer serious about their craft in this era should have a Web presence, and to help you along see our “Website Guidelines” Page in this drop-down menu.

Follow the specific submission guidelines below, and subscribe – for free, get WTP delivered to your inbox monthly!

Given our international presence, we will respect either standard English spellings or American spellings as long as they are consistent in the individual work.

We accept electronic submissions only.
