Approximately 30 works from contemporary artists will be selected for this unique exhibition and cash prizes will be awarded in the categories of: Painting, Works on Paper (includes watercolor on paper), and Photography. This year’s exhibition is selected by three professional jurors specializing in Photography, Works on Paper, and Painting.

Open to all artists, accepting work completed in the last three years. Artists must be 18 years of age or older.
Categories of work accepted are:
Painting: Oil, acrylic, water based media, mixed media, or other painting medium painted on a two-dimensional surface.
Photography: Black and white, color, or digital photography.
Work on Paper: Prints, drawings, watercolor, paint, pastels or mixed media on paper.

Please apply online using our Submittable Portal. Entry fee is $30 for up to 3 artwork image uploads per entry. Images should be saved for the web in .jpg format at 72 dpi.
Only one juror category (painting, works on paper or photography) may be selected per application. Artists interested in submitting to more than one category must submit an additional application per category and pay an additional $30 fee per application.
You may submit to more than one category, but you may only submit once to any single category.

Work should be framed and/or ready for ease of handling and hanging (HANGING WIRES REQUIRED). 2-D works should not exceed 30” Height x 24” Width including the frame. Work that does not follow these guidelines may be refused and returned to the artist.
Awards are given to outstanding works in the exhibition, as chosen by the juror. Awards range from $100-$1,000. See www.mgsoa.org for updates on awards.
All accepted work must be for sale. MGSoA and the Susquehanna Orchid Society will retain 20 percent commission on all sales. The price on the Entry Form will be considered a retail price from which the 20 percent commission will be deducted in the case of sales.
