Deadline February 19: Donkeys Around Town is a civic initiative of the Philadelphia 2016 Host Committee for the Democratic National Convention. In celebration of the 2016 Democratic National Convention, fifty – s even fiberglass donkeys will be painted by local artists to represent the fifty states, Washington, D.C. and the six U.S. territories. The donkeys, the symbol of the Democratic Party, will be displayed from July 1 – 31, 2016 at popular sites and attraction s throughout Philadelphia. The Mural Arts Program of Philadelphia and Artjawn.com will select a team of Philadelphia – based artists to interpret symbols and images of state and territory history and culture and create vivid donkey statues to decorate our City. C heck the box for the Donkeys Around Town competition under “Terms and Conditions.” Attach a CV or Resume to your profile.
