Deadline August 15: Attention all young digital media creators from the Delaware Valley! WHYY is currently accepting submissions for their 5th annual Youth Media Awards.
“The quality of the work sent by students increases each year,” said Craig Santoro, WHYY director of educational programs. “The Youth Media Awards provides the opportunity to honor young digital media artists for their hard work, creativity and talent.”
WHYY is looking for videos in four different categories: news reports, documentary, narrative, and open. Videos must be less than 7 minutes and may be produced by an individual or a group. Members of production must be between grades 6-12 to submit, and from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware.
If you or someone you know fits this bill and wants to show the world what they can do, then hurry up and enter! They could win a trophy for their work and possibly see it air on WHYY’s Anthology program. And what better support is there to follow your dreams than recognition for your hard work?
