The Holiday Display Installation Crew Chief oversees the loading, unloading, installation, and takedown of holiday décor for new and existing holiday goods. Assistance in the supervision of installation/takedown crews is necessary.

TEMPUS PROJECTS in Tampa, Florida is currently accepting applications for its Artist-in-Residence program.
One artist will be provided with housing and studio space for one month, along with the opportunity to install a month-long solo exhibition following the residency. Selected artists also receive a $1000.00 stipend toward living and working expenses for the duration of their stay. Proposals will be considered from emerging and established artists (visual as well as trans-disciplinary practices) working in any and all media.

The 91st Annual International Competition
The Print Center’s Annual International Competition is one of the most prestigious and oldest competitions in the United States. The Print Center is particularly interested in highlighting local, national and international artists who utilize photography and printmaking in intriguing ways, both in content and process. Artists who use printmaking and/or photography as critical components of their work, or whose work pushes the boundaries of traditional photographic and printmaking practices, are encouraged to enter.

The International Museum of Collage, Assemblage and Construction (collagemuseum.com) with the International Society of Assemblage and Collage Artists (collagist.org) in Santa Fe, New Mexico invites you to contribute to our celebration of the 100 year Anniversary of DADA! Because The Archives are in Santa Fe, we will also be setting up our first annual Mexican Style Ofrenda (offering) to honor our artistic ancestors. This year we will be celebrating the collage/assemblage Dada artists including Kurt Schwitters, Hannah Höch, Man Ray, John Heartfield, Marcel Duchamp, Jean Arp, Max Ernst, Raoul Hausmann, etc.
The International Post-Dogmatist Group’s Office of the Postulator-General will also be holding a historic Canonization Ceremony for Saint Kurt Schwitters of Hanover at the opening!
WHAT TO SEND: We are asking you to make a collage in the spirit of Dada such as using chance operations or any other dada technique–send a Merz work–an object for the Ofrenda dedicted to one or more of the DADA artists–send an collage or assemblage homage in the style of one of the DADA artists–Keep it smallish–14×11 inches or smaller. Ready to hang is best.
TERMS: There are: NO FEES, NO JURY, NO RETURNS! Your contribution WILL be exhibited and will become a part of the permanent collection of the IMCAC Archives for possible use in future exhibitions and/or publications.
DOCUMENTATION: Your contribution will be exhibited beginning with the opening November 4, 2016 and continue through January 2017. The works will be on permanent exhibit online on our 2016 inventory blog under “Dada Centennial” with a possible catalog produced.
DEADLINE: Please have works in by October 29, 2016! (late works will be added to the exhibition but please be on time if possible).

Theme: Art In City Hall issues a call for three dimensional sculpture no larger than 12 inches diagonal or any direction. Small Sculpture provides a platform for artists to present works that connect the intimacy of size and scale with aesthetic and conceptual exploration. Works may be utilitarian in nature and blur the lines between sculpture and craft; however, the call is not for traditional craft. Sculptures can be freestanding, hanging, or created in relief. All works must be accompanied by an artist statement identifying the relationship between size and concept.

It’s that time of year again for the next City Employees’ art competition and exhibit! Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy in collaboration with the National Arts Program Foundation issue a Call for Artists for the 17th National Arts Program® Exhibit at Philadelphia.

Silver Eye Center for Photography announces a Call for Entries for Fellowship 17, our international photography competition. Now in its 17th year, this competition recognizes both rising talent and established photographers from all corners of the globe and from the state of Pennsylvania. This year’s juror is Rebecca Senf, Chief Curator, Center for Creative Photography, Tucson, AZ, Norton Family Curator of Photography, Phoenix Museum of Art.
Deadline for submissions via Silver Eye’s website is Monday, October 31, 2016, 11:59:59 pm EST.
All U.S. and international amateur and professional photographers, age 18 and older at the time of submission, may apply.
Silver Eye staff and their relatives, board members, current interns, and past Fellowship winners are not eligible to apply.
Award recipients will be selected by the juror on the basis of exceptional, distinctive talent as evidenced by the strength of their submitted portfolios. The juror is especially interested in seeing portfolios with a strong narrative thrust and highly individual, original points of view.
There are two (2) rounds of evaluation. Winners will be notified via phone immediately following the decision of the juror. Non-selected photographers will be notified by email shortly thereafter. Decisions of the juror are final and binding.
What to Enter
The submission you are entering is comprised of three individual items: 1) a one-page Artist’s Statement in PDF format; 2) your biography or CV in PDF format, and 3) your work sample.
You may submit up to ten (10) images from a cohesive, exhibition-ready body of work created within the past three years. Or, if from an ongoing project, the portfolio must include images created within the past three years.
Submitted work may not have been previously exhibited at Silver Eye or in the Greater Pittsburgh region.
For the best image quality and fast upload, image files must be no larger than 1,500 pixels wide, and saved as a .JPG size 8.

Awards are given as prizes to the winning artists, and artists are not required to cover the cost of exhibition expenses.
If chosen as an award recipient, artists must provide work that is already printed, matted, if necessary, framed, and exhibition-ready. Silver Eye Center for Photography will not print, matte, or frame work.
The artist pays for one-way shipping with an agreed-upon carrier such as FedEx and for expenses related to the packing of the work.
Silver Eye Center for Photography will cover return shipping using a price-match of the cost of shipping for initial delivery. Receipts must be submitted by the artist to Silver Eye to verify shipping costs. If the price of return shipping exceeds the price-match, the artist will cover the difference for the cost.
