2023 IMPACT Report

Dear Friends,

Since our founding in 1999, InLiquid has been at the forefront of mobilizing and making accessible the greater Philadelphia region’s visual arts culture. For 25 years, we have provided a better support system for local artists and nurtured the public’s appreciation of visual art. What began as an online exhibition venue, meeting place, and information resource for artists, quickly expanded into a community of artist members, increased site content, and a regular series of public programs and exhibitions at locations throughout the region.

Today, InLiquid’s website is a free educational resource and conduit for interaction between artists, curators, patrons, and the public. It is the most comprehensive source for regional visual arts information and activities.

As you will see in our latest Impact Report, we continued our efforts to become increasingly accessible to a broader and more diverse population of art lovers and community members. Through a series of 27 exhibitions and 68 public events, we activated our gallery space and 7 satellite galleries with workshops, artist talks, and exhibition receptions. We served hundreds of local artists, providing opportunities for professional development, career advancement, and exposure. In addition, we further developed our art advisory services, placing artwork by Philadelphia artists in corporate collections and residential spaces throughout the region.

This year, I, along with InLiquid’s staff and board of directors, am thrilled to celebrate our 25th anniversary of supporting Philadelphia’s visual arts community. Our vision to create and foster a community focused on the visual arts has never been clearer, and our efforts would not have been possible without you and your commitment to art and artists. When you support InLiquid, you support accessible arts programming in your community and strengthen the infrastructure of Philadelphia’s creative economy. Thank you!

Best Regards,

Rachel Zimmerman
Founding Artistic and Executive Director
