Artist's Statement

I am interested in creating paintings that explore a wide relationship between color, form and texture. My paintings are informed by a multiplicity of elements: nature, special relationships or the foam in my toothbrush. The canvas reflects human sensory experience like the leaves changing in autumn or bare branches forming a pattern. My painting practice has always been about experimentation instead of searching for a voice I look for a medley or a symphony.
