Artist's Biography

Jennifer Lipman-Bartel has welded steel furniture at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, has created jewelry at the Moore College of Art & Design and has a degree from Boston University. Her jewelry and sculptural work has been displayed in many galleries and galas. The National Liberty Museum, The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Art in City Hall, The Wayne Arts Center, The Abington Arts Center,The Painted Bride Arts Center, The Print Center, Manna’s Show of Hands, The American Cancer Association, Aids Coalition of Southern New Jersey, Cystic Fibrosis Association, Moss Rehab’s All About Art and Art Reach, to name a few.

Jennifer’s jewelry and sculptural work are all her own unique design concepts and hand-work. Incorporating glass, semi-precious stones, metals, rare and unusual found objects. As a cancer survivor, she has donated her art to many legal aid organizations and charities that help people with cancer and disabilities in the Delaware Valley.

Both as craftsmen and resin model fabricators, Jennifer and her husband Mike operate a hobby manufacturing company. Creating kits and accessories for model ship builders and model train railroaders. Clients have been SEPTA, AKER Philadelphia Shipyard & Kinkisharyo. Their ship model work has been featured on the Television Science Channel Program “How It’s Made” Oil Tanker Episode for Aker Philadelphia Shipyard 2009.
