The Inaugural Black Art in America Fine Art Show Philadelphia is a “hybrid” fine art fair featuring curated works from invited galleries, dealers and artists in a range of media and styles. In addition to selections by 20th and 21st century Masters like Norman Lewis, Elizabeth Catlett and Romare Bearden, the fair will also feature work by emerging black artists of today, including local maker-on-the-rise, Lavett Ballard. Additional events include a private tour of the Colored Girls Museum, and talks by prominent black collectors and arts professionals. All artwork will be for sale.
