Marginal Utility is proud to present Aesthetic Breach, a solo exhibition of recent work by the Texas based artist Buster Graybill.
“Aesthetic Breach is an installation and sensory experience that embraces the formal nuances and conceptual potential of humble objects often overlooked in garages, porches, and backyards across America. My work explores contemporary aesthetics through a rural working class perspective, challenging perceived notions of value and hierarchies imposed on objects of “high” and “low” culture. Like a miner panning for gold, I sift through my environment with a playful but discerning eye, extracting beauty, humor, poetry, and value from the mundane sediment of everyday life.” -Buster Graybill, 2018
