“MY PAINTINGS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH REALITY

They are paintings which are all about feelings.

I think about a favorite melody and the feeling I have when hearing it which then ends up converted into painted images placed on canvas in a burst of high energy.

So my paintings have nothing to do with reality,

 

EXCEPT THAT…….

I love to place myself in landscapes near water where I’m often surrounded by challenging and sometimes exciting weather conditions that I find beautiful, nostalgic and irresistible and which I feel compelled to paint,

 

AND THEN…….

Equipped with the help of all the talented artist-friend-teachers who have inspired me…..
