A 3-day figurative art making intensive with live model with live figure drawing/photography and encaustic instruction. No experience necessary, just a love for the female form and encaustic mixed media!

Marcie is a Maryland based encaustic artist specializing in the figure, nature, drawing and painting. Leah and Marcie met and became friends at the Encaustic Castle Artists Residency 2018.

No experience necessary – all paints supplied + hahnemuhle paper, panels & drawing materials

• Friday Evening: excursion in Philadelphia to an art exhibit
• Saturday: live model to draw and photograph + lunch provided
• Sunday: Encaustic painting instruction all day + lunch provided
