InLiquid Artist member Zoë Cohen hosts “Collaborative Development,” a workshop series which aims to assist Philadelphia artists in furthering their professional development. These workshops are open to all Visual and Performing Artists in the Philadelphia area, at any stage of their career–anyone who needs professional artist materials in order to communicate about their work. Participants are led through a series of prompts and structured response processes though which you will receive useful, thoughtful input and feedback on your materials from other artists.
Workshop costs are on a sliding scale. No one will be turned away due to financial restrictions: please be in touch with Zoë if you’d like to discuss alternate arrangements.
About the facilitator:
Zoë Cohen is a visual artist producing drawings sculptures, installations, and public participatory projects within a research-driven process. She has an MFA from Brooklyn College, and a BA from Haverford College. Her work has been exhibited widely in Philadelphia, New York, and Berlin, most recently at the Abington Art Center. She has been an art educator, admissions counselor, curator, and administrator at Tyler School of Art, University of the Arts, The University City Arts League, and The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education. She has served on review panels for The Philadelphia Cultural Fund and the 40th St Artist in Residence. Zoe has also taught Professional Practices to UArts students, and she strongly believes that artists should have support and guidance in developing professional materials and strategies.
