In conjunction with their richly comprehensive group exhibition, Grand Vocabulary: Contemporary American IllustrationThe Delaware Contemporary is pleased to present two opportunities to hear internationally recognized practicing artists speak about their work and the world of contemporary illustration.

Join DCCA for a panel discussion examining how contemporary illustrators push their craft to explore the breadth and outlets for contemporary American illustration. Keynote Speaker John Hendrix will kick off an engaging conversation on October 17 to discuss the continuing evolution, importance, and accessibility of illustration in contemporary contexts.

On November 10 Alexi Natchev will return to The Delaware Contemporary to discuss the breadth of work and styles encompassing his brilliant 30+ year career here and in Bulgaria.
