Featuring: Nanci Hersh
The Gallery Committee at the Cosmopolitan Club will be presenting monthly virtual art exhibits, featuring two artists in each one-hour virtual show. Starting September 10, the interactive virtual exhibits will be moderated by a member of the Committee, and feature a presentation from each artist including what inspires them; examples of their artwork; studio tour; and preferred medium. Attendees will be supplied a link to the artist’s website and be able to purchase art directly from the artist.
Mark your calendars below for the first of these exciting and stimulating exhibits!
Cosmopolitan Club Members and their Guests, Artists and their Patrons are most welcome to attend.
Nanci explores love and loss as the overarching journey tying her personal paintings together. Water flows as a metaphor for life, for healing and for moving forth through emotional, personal times to ultimately find joy and new challenges. Her use of a variety of paint media on surfaces of canvas, board or Tyvek with deliberate tactile and textural elements and markings represent those emotions we hold and collect on our personal treks.
Historical Dream Jewelry
by Nina Grier
Nina’s journey into the creation of artisan jewelry started at the end of a successful career in the health industry. Her goal was to showcase the cultural diversity of famous and lesser-known figures who have reached across the past to bridge us to the present and future America. Look for the signature olive branch nestled in her company’s logo and ask about the accomplishments of her historical heroes.
