Philadelphia Young Playwrights
City Hall Courtyard
Philadelphia Young Playwrights will present a selection of winning monologues from PYP’s Young Voices Monologue Festival. Written by area high school students and performed by local professional actors, these monologues tackle brave, bold topics such as eviction, systemic racism, bullying in the digital age, and much more.
This event is part of the Community Cultural Performance Series within Creative Philadelphia’s Culture in the Courtyard performances. Produced by the Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy, these performances are FREE to the public to enjoy on the following Wednesdays at noon.
