Working with the concepts of contemporary abstract art, this workshop will utilize compositions that address geometry in art with a view to eliminating borders. Using methods for cut paper and assemblage construction, your work will be in free form with attention to the use of color, depth and shadow.
Learning will occur through technical demonstrations and through your own investigation. Small class size allows for plenty of one on one attention.
This workshop runs 3 hours and fees include supplies [for use in class]. Snacks [fruit, cheese, coffee/ tea] are also provided with after hours ‘social time’ in the garden. Courses are offered in both English and Spanish. A minimum of 2 and maximum of 6 participants allows for plenty of individual instruction. No experience necessary, for ages 16 and up.
Class fee: $70/person/class includes materials. Full payment for this class is required upon registration. Cash or check acceptable
