This drawing has no defined size and is in continuous creation. As the project becomes increasingly dispersed across the world, it eludes time and space in its scope. Mr. Wood completes a drawing every day, and each one of these drawings is a small piece of the much larger object called Daydrawing. Since January 1, 2016, he has created a daily panel for the work.
Each daily addition is rendered in powdered graphite and is a keyhole view into an alternate universe – a hallucinatory daydream that responds in part to observations throughout a day, and in part to the narratives already at play within the Daydrawing universe.
