The artists in EMERGE IV represent the new generation of women artists in the Middle East. They have come of age during a time of unprecedented local, regional and global change and their lives have been impacted by new technologies, climate change, political instability and shifting social and cultural norms. Their works explore concepts of individual and collective identity in unique and important ways.

The artists included in this exhibition all studied at Zayed University in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and are earning their Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Visual Arts in the College of Arts and Creative Enterprises.
