Color and Metallics with Rachel Mae Smith of The Crafted Life
Making your own abstract painting is easier than you might think. You don’t even need a paint brush! Come learn how to paint with a credit card and how to infuse gold foil in your work. We’ll also cover an intro to color theory so that you find the perfect palette for your painting. All supplies will be provided for you at the gallery. The three sessions will start on the hour at 12:00pm, 2:00pm, and 4:00pm.
All works made in this free art class stay at the gallery after the classes to be exhibited in our annual Community Arts Project Exhibition happening this February. Artwork will be sold starting at $20 each. 100% of funds will support future free art class programming.
RACHEL MAE SMITH loves do-able DIYS and strives to make life colorful and fun over on her blog The Crafted Life. Her work has been featured on Martha Stewart Living, Design Sponge, Good Housekeeping, Better Homes and Garden, and more.
