This people-powered initiative temporarily closes a designated street route to cars, so that people can walk, bike, and play (and paint!). This year’s car-free route follows North Broad Street from City Hall to Butler Street. Look out for art activities at Fairmount and Broad, three ground murals, and more.
People of all physical abilities are invited, and participants with mobility limitations are welcome to use motorized wheelchairs, scooters, pedal-assist bikes, and adaptive bicycles. People are encouraged to use public transit to access the car-free route. There is no formal starting or stopping place—join the fun anywhere along the route!
