Featuring: Marta Sanchez
Marta Sánchez is a native of San Antonio, Texas. Her works draw from the
traditions of retablo, or devotional images, often seen in Spanish Catholic churches of the Southwest United States. These colorful paintings celebrate her memories of people from her life. Marta is active in the revitalization of the northeast Philadelphia neighborhood where she now resides.
