Ada Trillo has an exhibition at the Saint Joseph’s Galley. In addition, she will be conducting a lecture on the 1st of October.

“If Walls Could Speak” is especially important at this time because of the new Trump administration order against the asylum seekers that Trillo has worked with over the last few months.

As of Sept 11th, all US asylum seekers are required to have previously gained asylum status in every country they passed prior to reaching the US border.

Essentially, only Mexican asylum seekers can have a shot at gaining asylum. The bulk of travelers from Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador…will have to retake their journeys.

–Which is extremely dangerous.

Ada wants to use this show as an opportunity for a call to action against this injustice.
