Horses, Nature, and the Figure
Draw and photograph horses and models to create mixed media collages and encaustic paintings.

A collaboration with Leah Macdonald and Marcie Wolf Hubbard

Spend Friday at a beautiful stable in Malvern — drawing and photographing horses in front of a canvas background outside. Students will have the option to work with a model. Saturday and Sunday will be spent at Leah’s studio in Philadelphia printing photographs to use with collage and encaustic painting. Demonstrations and instruction will help each artist develop and create beautiful mixed media works of art about horses.
