In celebration of their twentieth year as a co-operative, non-profit arts organization in the Greater Philadelphia Area, MCGOPA’s exhibit will feature over 40 works by 22 artists. The artwork will include a variety of artistic mediums including work on canvas, work on paper, mixed-media work, wall sculpture, photography, sculpture and stained glass. Exhibiting artists include Joanne Barraclough, Millie Becker, Julie Bortnick, Alice K. Chung, Perky Cohen, Virginia Conover, Karen Love Cooler, Barbara Glickman, Greg Hunt, Clara Soyoun Kim, Susan Klinger, Pamela Lee, Anne Leith, May Lomax, Pam McLean-Parker, Gail Morrison-Hall, Deborah Northey, Rinal Parikh, Naomi Rubin, Irma Shapiro, Kathleen Spicer, and Sharon Steinhofer.
As evidenced by their varied artistic mediums and wide range of approach to subject matter, this collection of artists responds creatively to the world in vastly differing ways. Their unique forms of expression are heightened in the context of this rich group show where their work will be on view collectively to celebrate the guild’s first two decades of highlighting the work of area artists as it begins its third decade supporting visual artists and the arts.
