Human Being Productions presents Murdercastle: How to Make a Rock Opera, a documentary which follows the Baltimore Rock Opera Society (BROS) as they take on their biggest, scariest project yet–the story of America’s first serial killer.
Though it began as just a small group of friends, volunteer-based theatre company BROS has since grown to include over 300 artists committed to collaborating and performing three-hour rock theatre spectacles. The documentary goes behind the scenes of their latest creation to show what it takes to keep that number of people motivated: friendship, dedication, a democratic decision-making process, and a complex mythos of made-up characters.
The screening will take place upstairs at RUBA Club Studios, where you can enjoy the bar and take part in the Murdercastle Drinking Game. Opening curtain remarks by the director.
Tickets are $10.
