Journal and Learn 10 native plants and their ethnobotanical stories each week. Start some native plant seeds for your summer garden and support ecological landscaping during
this 4-week Nature Journaling workshop. The Nature Journaling course will provide opportunities for practice which can be applied to travel experience or your own backyard. You will be introduced to Four-Color Analysis, a method of journaling invented by Carol Welsh, as a way to see more in the environment.
In addition, you will have an opportunity to document the natural world in a personal journal you create by developing eight specific frames for seeing. Native plants of spring will be our subject for the course. Journals and materials will be provided or you may bring your own favorite journal to continue.
Materials: a $10 materials fee is included in your tuition to cover a journal, watercolor, and field guides.
