The University of Pennsylvania School of Design (PennDesign) Fall 2018 Lecture Series brings more than 30 of the world’s leading architects, landscape architects, planners, artists, and preservationists to Philadelphia. The series opens with a panel discussion organized by The Ian L. McHarg Center for Urbanism and Ecology on “Designing the Political Landscape.” The schedule includes explorations of methane emissions, the politics of modern memorials, and the impact of LGBTQ history on historic preservation.
