On Thursday, June 15, AAMP invites you to join the African American Museum for the opening reception for PhilAesthetic: The African American Museum in Philadelphia Celebrates the Black Arts Movement. Presented during the summer of 2017, this PNC Arts Alive funded project will be an unprecedented collaboration that celebrates the innovative artistic energy and uncompromising social values of Philadelphia’s Black Arts Movement through exhibits, public performances, workshops and more.

Along with wine and light fare, this FREE reception will include performances by the Clef Club Ensemble, spoken word artist Ursula Rucker, and African dance troupe Kulu Mele. Don’t wait RSVP online today
