Boston Street Gallery presents RAPTURE OF SPACE, featuring InLiquid member Sandi Neiman Lovitz and Eugene Perry.

Sandi Neiman Lovitz graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelors degree in Art Education and taught art in the Pittsburgh public school system for two years. She attended summer art classes at Carnegie Tech and was a juried member in the Pittsburgh watercolor society before moving to Philadelphia. She was of President of the Tri-State Pennsylvania Artists Equity for two years and has continued to serve on the executive board. She is also involved in ARTsisters, a group of women who are professional visual artists that not only support each other, but also reach out to women and children in the community. She is a member at InLiquid.

Born in Liberia, West Africa, Eugene Perry moved to the United States when he was ten years old and learned welding through his job, while performing his task as a steel fabricator. Looking to his faith for inspiration, Perry was stimulated by mentor Jung Park, an older Korean artist. Perry later became a full time artist on his own after receiving an enthusiastic response to his work from the community of collectors in Philadelphia and New York City. Perry has been honored with several awards for his work, and recently was selected as one of only thirty eight (38) artists worldwide to exhibit at the first annual International Contemporary Christian Art show in conjunction with the Vatican’s Global 2011 event in Madrid, Spain. Due to his participation in this exhibit, he has been featured in media in almost every major language in the world.
