The Clay Studio and the Center for Art in Wood present their a full weekend of events during their symposium, Technicalities: Meaning in Methods
Fri, Oct. 28 | 5:30 – 7 PM | Keynote speech by Glenn Adamson. Presented by the Center and The Clay Studio. The event will take place at Christ Church, 20 N. American St., Philadelphia. Registration required. Free and open to the public. Post Talk Reception 7 – 8:30 PM.
Sat, Oct. 29 | 9 – 5 PM | Symposium. Featured speakers: Glenn Adamson, curators Anne Carlisle, Ethan Lasser, Jennifer Zwilling, and artists Paul Scott, Charlotte Hodes, Sebastian Errazuriz, Tom Loeser, Andrew Raftery, Larry Bush, Christopher Kurtz, and Yuri Kobayashi. Temple University’s Tyler School of Art, 2001 N 13th St, Philadelphia. Tickets are $65 ($60 for members) and include a box lunch. Pre-register at centerforartinwood.
Sun, Oct. 30 | 1 – 4 PM | Workshops. Hands-on workshops led by Janice Smith, Paul Scott, and Charlotte Hodes. Temple University’s Tyler School of Art, 2001 N. 13th St, Philadelphia. Pre-registration is required, tickets are $25 and may be purchased at centerforartinwood.org/events and theclaystudio.
