Woodmere’s annual juried exhibition highlights contemporary work in a wide variety of media by artists living within fifty miles of the Museum. This year’s juror is Syd Carpenter, a sculptor and professor of studio art at Swarthmore College who invited artists and craftspeople to submit work in all media that reference the land, the transience of the body, and the skill of the maker. The exhibition will include work curated from the museum’s collection as well as work by Carpenter.
The exhibition will feature works in a wide variety of media from artists living within 50 miles of the Museum.
