TO BELONG is an art exhibition in City Hall focused on immigration and the ways people find a sense of belonging. There will be a section devoted specifically to LGBTQ artists. The exhibition will be outside Mayor Jim Kenney’s Office, and organized by the Office of LGBTQ Affairs. They are looking for artworks that represent a sense of belonging. They might be landscapes of the city, or the importance of relationships. They can be representational or abstract. They can be 2D or 3D wall relief or sculpture. Because the artworks will be displayed in a public area open to children, works including nudity cannot be displayed.
