About the films:
Moment to Moment (Jury Prize for Best Short, 2019 San Francisco DocFest; Special Jury Award at 2019 IFFBoston)

This short film follows Carl and Susan, scientist and artist, respectively, as they navigate the challenges of Carl’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis. Unable to engage in the scientific inquiry of his prior career, Carl finds solace in his basement, dismantling discarded electronics in search of the valuable copper inside. What begins as a perhaps questionable behavior evolves into a shared artistic collaboration, as Susan turns the copper into art.
