Hamilton Street Gallery is happy to embrace the Fall season with two solo exhibitions beginning October 23rd until December 11th. “Figments/Iterations: A Hypnerotomachia” is the title of Laurie Pettine’s amazing new mixed media work, which has evolved from an intense interest in world cultures, myth and science, particularly quantum theory and mysticism. Laurie’s chosen pink color scheme compels us to reexamine our Crayola box sensibility.
Also on view are Frederic Carpenter’s brilliantly painted New Works that take us on an adventure into otherworldly pop surrealist scenarios with characters and a narrative ambiance from zany to tragic. Both exhibitions promise to inspire the mind and nurture the soul. There will be an opening reception on Saturday, October 23rd from 2 to 5 pm. All are welcome to attend free of charge. The gallery is located at 6 Hamilton Street in Bound Brook, NJ, next door to the Brook Theater. Their hours are Thursday 12 to 5 pm, Fridays 5:30 to 8 pm Saturdays 1 to 5 pm and by appointment. Their phone number is: 732-748-2092 and email is firstname.lastname@example.org, web site: www.hamiltonstreetgalery.com.
