Wall Ball 2020 has been postponed out of respect for the health & safety of Mural Arts’ supporters. Their largest and most crucial fundraising event of the year, they felt it was important to protect their over 600 annual attendees and cancel the May 14 event. As they continue to focus their important work around our 2020 theme of Hope & Healing, Mural Arts prioritizes the wellbeing of the many communities they impact. They will share more as soon as a new date has been determined.
This year’s honorees selected for their dedication to Mural Arts Philadelphia programs that focus on resilience and healing:
Daniel J. Hilferty,
CEO, Independence Blue Cross
Sandy & Stephen Sheller,
The Sheller Family Foundation
Explore the ways in which participatory art-making is an avenue for both individual and community healing and wellness, and celebrate our programs in Kensington and Same Day Pay that promote ideas of unity and empathy among neighbors and transform public spaces.
Wall Ball 2020 uplifts the work of Mural Arts’ pioneering Porch Light program which explores the ways participatory art-making can restore individuals and communities.
