Featuring: Tremain Smith
Many people have left their bodies. Their spirits of love and strength are with us, offering guidance and mutual assistance as we open to our deep connection. Heshimu said often: there is no separation.
This exhibit is dedicated in honor of Heshimu Jaramogi (1952-2020), Philadelphia multimedia journalist, and Tremain Smith’s partner for 12 years. The closing date is his birthday. To that end, she is raising funds for the Black Doctors Consortium, which is providing medical assistance and barrier-free testing in Philadelphia neighborhoods hardest hit by the coronavirus.
Tremain will donate 30% of the proceeds from sales during the exhibit to the Black Doctors Consortium, after the gallery takes their percent, and will keep prices below wholesale to provide for more affordability.
There will be an online viewing room of the exhibit for safety and for those who would like to purchase work without physically going to the gallery.
Reception: Saturday, September 12, 2-5 pm
Online Viewing Room will be available
