Join the Wharton Esherick Museum on Sunday, May 7 for “Wood Science 101” with Charles David Ray, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Ecosystem Science and Management at Penn State University, and members of the International Wood Collectors Society.
Participants will learn the basics of wood science and then put their new knowledge into practice identifying some of the more common woods. The program will include a Q & A session on wood science and woodworking. This class is FREE and open to the public but spaces must be reserved in advance.
