InLiquid’s partnership with The Yard features a 4-floor co-op workspace with a quarterly rotating art collection within its workspaces and lounge spaces.
InLiquid and The Yard are both dedicated to a meaningful partnership in their efforts to creatively exhibit local artists while blending visual art harmoniously into a diverse work environment made of small businesses and independent freelancers.

Catalyst
Marking a momentous beginning to our new partnership with center-city-based co-op workspace The Yard, InLiquid Art presents the works of eight artists in the exhibition Catalyst. Each of the four floors of The Yard will feature artwork by artists whose artistic careers in Philadelphia and beyond have flourished throughout the years. From textile art, photography, to oil paint, each artist demonstrates a systematic precision that is pristine in its craftsmanship, delicate in its content, and universally enjoyed.
The title of the exhibition, Catalyst, comes from the idea of a person or thing precipitating an event. In this case, a new exhibition is a catalyst for both the education of and accessibility to artwork made by local (both of national and internationally renown) artists. For every new space, InLiquid has the opportunity to curate and exhibits artwork, public exhibition sets as a catalyst for the discovery of art, whether it be by self-motivation or chance. Catalyst gives the opportunity for visitors and tenants at The Yard to casually learn about emerging and established artists of Philadelphia.
An official opening reception will be held on February 21st. Attendees will be able to meet the exhibiting artists and listen to short talks given by the artists. This opening reception will be in tandem with Colleen Keefe & Agathe Bouton’s artist and closing reception, happening across the street at East Market.
