Park Towne Place is pleased to provide a robust art program including rotational exhibitions curated by InLiquid. Please see the current rotational exhibition highlighted above, or scroll down to see past rotational exhibitions at Park Towne Place. These exhibitions are made possible by InLiquid’s partnership with AIR; helping to organize engaging public programming at their one-of-a-kind mid-century modern complex.
Structures
InLiquid & AIMCO programming has been temporarily closed to the public at the galleries at Park Towne Place. We welcome you to stay connected and engaged with us online. Stay tuned!
Structures is an exploration of structural systems that we see, construct, experience, and that permeate our daily lives. Structures is broken into three subsections with each one spanning its own gallery. The included works in Frame, exhibited in the South Tower, all relate to the act of framing either in their invocation of architecture, or in using one material to highlight another. Shelter, in the North Tower, includes work that utilize base forms that invoke shelters either literally or through the use of vessel forms. The work in Growth, in the West Tower, utilize small parts and through repetitive and layering techniques, highlight the relationship between the small parts of something and a whole that is much more complex.
