Wind Fellowship Exhibition
Exhibition on view until: Saturday, October 23, 2021
InLiquid is proud to present The Wind Fellowship Exhibition at the InLiquid Gallery from September 15 through October 23. In 2020, eight jurors selected 10 exceptional artists from the Philadelphia area for InLiquid’s first ever Wind Fellowships. Hazziza Abdullah, Cassidy Argo, Amy Cousins, Daniel Clark, Kevin Hetzel, Sarah Kaizar, Suji Kanneganti, Yixuan Pan, Mollie Schaidt (not in exhibition), and Nhi Vo were chosen out of numerous applicants. InLiquid is pleased to present this exhibition as the culmination of their Fellowships.
These included artists explore themes surrounding identity and identity politics, memories, place, and materiality. The fellowships recognize each artist’s exceptional work, and promote their artistic practices to new audiences through InLiquid
There will be an artist reception on October 14, 2021 from 6 to 8 pm. RSVP here.
“InLiquid is excited to showcase a new generation of Philadelphia’s talented diverse visual artists. We are especially thrilled to be able to use our platform and our resources to support their artistry at a time that is so difficult and void of opportunity for so many.” Rachel Zimmerman, Founder and Executive Director, InLiquid.
“We are so pleased to be joining forces with InLiquid in providing these fellowships. Our thanks to the esteemed jury for thoughtfully selecting a diverse and deserving class. InLiquid has so much to offer its artists, and it will be exciting to watch the new members take advantage of the opportunities to grow their careers and get their work out there, both online and in person.” John Wind, President, Dina Wind Art Foundation
